SWAMP THING #1
Written by Scott Snyder
Art by Yannick Paquette
Cover by Yannick Paquette

The old Swamp Thing didn’t do much for me, but maybe the interaction with the other “Dark” titles it will work.

ANIMAL MAN #1
Written by Jeff Lemire
Art by Travel Foreman & Dan Green
Cover by Travel Foreman & Dan Green

So his daughter inherited powers, well all teenage girls have problems.

JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #1
Written by Peter Milligan
Art by Mikel Janin
Cover by Ryan Sook

A team of dark and spooky characters that had been mainstays in Vertigo has potential. Hopefully they can make us care about the characters.

DEMON KNIGHTS #1
Written by Paul Cornell
Art by Diogenes Neves & Oclair Albert
Cover by Diogenes Neves & Oclair Albert

A demon in Camelot… yawn.

FRANKENSTEIN, AGENT OF SHADE #1
Written by Jeff Lemire
Art by Alberto Ponticelli
Cover by Alberto Ponticelli

Up until Flashpoint, I would have been very much in the vein of “who cares”. The issue that I have read with this character was actually good though, so I am intrigued.

RESURRECTION MAN #1
Written by Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning
Art by Fernando Dagnino
Cover by Fernando Dagnino

I loved this character in his first run and the original writers are back. The concept, coming back to life with a new power whenever he is killed led to some wacky and fun storylines before.

I, VAMPIRE #1
Written by Josh Fialkov
Art by Andrea Sorrentino
Cover by Andrea Sorrentino

I wish they had of left Vampires out of this. You may have seen this concept before when Marvel released Blade.

VOODOO #1
Written by Ron Marz
Art by Sami Basri
Cover by Sami Basri

She was an interesting character in Wildcats, and now they are bringing the Wildstorm universe into the DC Universe.

LEGION LOST #1
Written by Fabian Nicieza
Art by Pete Woods
Cover by Pete Wood

Part of the Legion stuck in the present, well it has been done before but it was good then, so it has potential.

LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES #1
Written by Paul Levitz
Art by Francis Portela
Cover by Francis Portela

Always popular among longtime fans, but I have never been able to get into LOSH.

TEEN TITANS #1
Written by Scott Lobdell
Art by Brett Booth & Norm Rapmund
Cover by Brett Booth & Norm Rapmund

I am pretty sure the creative team used to work on X-men back when it was still pretty good. I don’t expect a masterpiece, but it has potential to be good.

STATIC SHOCK #1
Written by John Rozum & Scott McDaniel
Art by Scott McDaniel & Jonathan Glapion
Cover by Scott McDaniel

Superpowered high school kid from the mean streets sort of reminds me of early Spider-man.

HAWK & DOVE #1
Written by Sterling Gates
Art by Rob Liefeld
Cover by Rob Liefeld

Cool character concepts, but putting Rob Liefeld’s name on it drove me away.

STORMWATCH #1
Written by Paul Cornell
Art by Miguel Sepulveda
Cover by Miguel Sepulveda

This is another old Wildstorm title. Bringing Martian Manhunter in is interesting.

BLACKHAWKS #1
Written by Mike Costa
Art by Ken Lashley
Cover by Ken Lashley

A title dedicated to mercenaries should have potential.

SGT. ROCK AND THE MEN OF WAR #1
Written by Ivan Brandon
Art by Tom Derenick
Cover by Tom Derenick

Military titles don’t do much for me in general.

ALL-STAR WESTERN #1
Written by Jimmy Palmiotti & Justin Grey
Art by Moritat
Cover by Moritat

Jonah Hex is a cool character and the western genre keeps trying to come back.

DEATHSTROKE #1
Written by Kyle Higgins
Art by Joe Bennett & Art Thibert
Cover by Joe Bennett & Art Thibert

This is the title that makes me think Blackhawks will have trouble staying afloat. Deathstroke is a much cooler mercenary.

GRIFTER #1
Written by Nathan Edmondson
Art by Cafu & BIT
Cover by Cafu & BIT

Another Wildstorm castaway. The story sounds like it could be good.

OMAC #1
Written by Dan Didio & Keith Giffen
Art by Keith Giffen & Scott Koblish
Cover by Keith Giffen & Scott Koblish

I like Keith Giffin, but the concept here isn’t very good.

SUICIDE SQUAD #1
Written by Adam Glass
Art by Marco Rudy

Bringing in Harley Quinn is brilliant.

BLUE BEETLE #1
Written by Tony Bedard
Art by Ig Guara
Cover by Tyler Kirkham

I had been hoping that they would bring Ted Kord back.

ACTION COMICS #1
Written by Grant Morrison
Art by Rags Morales
Cover by Rags Morales

Fantastic creative team, but I am still upset about the renumbering on this title. Action Comics #1 was iconic.

SUPERMAN: THE MAN OF TOMORROW #1
Written by George Perez
Art by Jesus Merino
Cover by George Perez

I love my Superman, I am curious as to the changes.

SUPERGIRL #1
Written by Michael Green & Mike Johnson
Art by Mahmud Asrar
Cover by Mahmud Asrar

Great character, but I am not that familiar with the creative team.

SUPERBOY #1
Written by Scott Lobdell
Art by R.B. Silva & Rob Lean
Cover by R.B. Silva & Rob Lean

I hope they maintain the half Superman/half Lex clone origin.
